Standing in water? Read two lines, then call.

Shut off your main water valve. Then call. Everything below can wait until the truck is on its way.

Before we arrive

Six things that limit the damage.

In the minutes before a plumber reaches you, these are what actually reduce the repair bill. Do the first one now.

  • Shut off the main water valve
Usually at the front of the house near the hose bib, or in a box at the curb. Turn it clockwise until it stops. If you can't find it, we'll walk you to it on the phone.
  • Kill power to any wet area
If water is near outlets, appliances or a panel, switch that circuit off at the breaker — from a dry spot. Don't wade into standing water to reach a switch.
  • Shut the gas to a leaking water heater
Turn the gas control dial to OFF and close the valve on the supply line. For electric, switch off the breaker. A tank firing dry damages itself in minutes.
  • Move what water ruins first
Rugs, cardboard boxes, electronics and anything wooden sitting on the floor. Lift furniture legs onto foil or blocks. This is the difference between a dry-out and a replacement.
  • Photograph everything, wet
Wide shots of each room and close-ups of the damage, before anyone cleans up. Insurance adjusters pay on documentation, and it disappears the moment you start mopping.
  • Don't pour chemicals down a blocked drain
Caustic cleaners sit in a full line, don't clear it, and burn whoever opens it next — including us. If a drain is already backed up, chemicals only make the visit harder.

What it costs

No after-hours premium.

2am is the same rate as 2pm. Here's roughly where emergency calls land — confirmed in writing before anything starts.

  • Emergency diagnostic — $0
We look, we tell you what's happening and what it costs. No trip charge, no fee to quote.
  • Main line clearing — from $149
With an accessible cleanout. Without one, more, and you hear that number first.
  • Burst pipe repair — from $275
Depends on access and material. Copper in an open wall is at the low end; behind tile is not.
  • Emergency water heater replacement — quoted flat
Same-day where we have the size on the truck. The old unit leaves with us.
  • Financing available on larger work
Laid out with the quote so you can see the monthly number next to the total.
