If there's no cleanout and we have to pull a toilet or go through the roof vent, it's more, and we tell you that number before we start. Looking at the problem and quoting it is free. Diagnostic work that takes equipment — electronic leak detection, a camera inspection — carries a fee, and we credit it toward the repair if you hire us. We'll always tell you which one you're asking for before we come out.

A cable drills an opening through a clog. A jetter uses high-pressure water to scour the full inside diameter of the pipe back to bare wall, taking grease, scale and root hair with it. Cabling is right for a one-off blockage; jetting is right for a line that keeps closing up.

Workmanship is warrantied for one year on repairs and longer on installations; manufacturer coverage on parts runs separately and we register it for you. If the same problem returns inside that window, we come back and there's no second diagnostic fee.
